My spiffy new diaper bag! :)

I finally finished the bag on Thursday morning and I have been using it all this weekend as we have gone all over hanging out with Wes's little brother who came out to visit this weekend. And let me tell you, I wasn't sure how much I would like the bag....but I LOVE it!! It turned out exactly how I wanted it and it is soooo cute! I'm finally organized and it makes my life so much happier :). I love all the little details I added to make sure it was exactly what I wanted.

It has lots of body so it can stand up on its own.

It's big enough to fit all my stuff, but not so overwhelmingly big that it's way too heavy :)

I hated that my last bag was one big pocket because everything got all jumbled around in there and I could never find anything! So this time around, I made 3 sections with cute little dividers and I even get a section all to myself! (This is also a good shot of the front two pockets and the magnetic clasp which is way nice to have.)

This picture is a little hard to see, but I made sure to have plenty of pocket space, so the inside has a total of 13 pockets, and the outside has 5 :).  I think I'm set!

I love all the little extra details like the zipper pocket in the back (which I love especially because of the bright orange zipper!), the orange topstitching on the outside of the bag, the adjustable strap, and the cute little keyring holder in my mommy section.

I even added a microfiber lining to my cell phone pocket so that it will clean my iPhone glass when I slip it in and out. lol

All packed up...(I know it only looks like the middle pocket is packed, but that's because you can't really see my neat and organized snack and mommy pockets :)

Valentine's Day was so great this year!  We really had a great time.  The morning started off with a bunch of kisses for baby....

He's thinking: What the heck Mom!?!? I'm naked.

Tyler had no idea that when he came home from work that night he'd be in Tahiti!  We had some ocean sounds and island music to set the mood.  We went to a little Cafe in Tahiti and had a gourmet, 3 course meal.  yum!

We had bread and cheese for our appetizer, and tasty island drinks

Pan-seared Tuna on a bed of sauteed baby bok choy with garlic & lemon.

Banoffee Pie for dessert- think banana cream pie with caramel, toffee bits & a graham cracker crust.... mmmmm!

Tyler made me be Vanna White- I even dressed the part!  The photo in the back is one he took on his mission!

After almost 3 years of marriage, Tyler graduating college, buying a house, and having sweet little baby, we are still very much in love! What a fabulous life we have! :)

Christmas ... Long Overdue!

I feel like I finally have a moment to sit down and update you all!  Life has been so crazy since we came down for Christmas.  School has been especially intense this semester! Tyler has been such a wonderful, patient husband for helping me to accomplish all the things that I would like to.  :) I am one lucky girl!

What a fun day! Warm Bodies, Olive Garden, designing hair for the wedding, fondue party, and Merlin! 25 isn't so bad :)

Parmesan cheese fondue with pretzels, french bread, and steamed broccoli and cauliflower. YUM! Also strawberries with fruit dip. 

Yes, this was delicious! Oh and check out our cool drinks with pop rocks around the edge. (cherry coke with strawberry pop rocks)

My new project

So I have been working a ton on my new diaper bag which I am pretty dang excited about. It's gonna be big and have a ridiculous amount of pockets, plus it's gonna be awesome. :) the gray and white chevron is the exterior of the bag and the bright orange will be the inside. Im in love with the fabric!

It has been a ton of prep work as there are like a million pieces and, in some parts, 2 layers of interfacing. In the last couple of days I've spent hours cutting, ironing on interfacing, sewing elastic into pockets and so on. I think I'm just about done with the prep work and my bag will start coming together very soon. I can't wait to show you the finished product!!

Also, on a side note I patched up my fat pants which I am pretty excited about because my belly is really starting to make an appearance :). Only 3 more weeks until we find out the sex!
